Dr. Daniel Bearley
Dr. Daniel Bearley is a general dentist from central Pennsylvania. He grew up in a small rural town 30 miles from State College, where Penn State University is located. His love for the Nittany Lions kept him close to home as he attended Penn State University, graduating in 1997.
After working nine years as a chemical engineer, Dr. Bearley decided he wanted a profession that offered more interpersonal relationships as well as a better work/life balance. For his second career, Dr. Bearley attended the University of Minnesota, where he graduated in 2012 with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree.
Dr. Bearley and his family moved back east, settling in the Charlottesville, Virginia area. He has owned his family dental practice since 2014. Starting in 2018, Dr. Bearley has been transforming his practice, moving toward his mission, to create positive, authentic and engaging relationships focused in comprehensive dentistry.
Dr. Bearley’s love for learning led him to the Pankey Institute in 2018. It is there that he has continued his journey in dental education. Dr. Bearley has embraced the Pankey philosophy of engineering restorations and designing treatment solutions to minimize the forces that occur in the joints, muscles, teeth and gums.
Dr. Bearley is a member of the following organizations: American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and Pankey Alumni.
On a personal note, Dr. Bearley has a wife and four school aged children. They enjoy traveling, tennis, golf and skiing. When he is not chasing his kids around, he is chasing Shadow, their Siberian husky.
